Specially Abled Series-Ryan Gander and Louise Nevelson

Ryan Gander | Louise Nevelson Ryan Gander is a contemporary British artist known for his wide-ranging multimedia practice that encompasses painting, sculpture, installation, and writing. Gander is a wheelchair user with a long-term physical disability, who does not identify as being disabled, though he has a severe brittle bone condition which hospitalized him for long periods of time as a child. Gander openly explores his personal challenges to thoughtful artistic ends. Louise Nevelson is a famous American sculptor who is known for her monumental, monochromatic, wooden wall pieces and outdoor sculptures. Born in Russia, she emigrated with her family to the United States in the early 20th century
