Creativity Exploration with Mixed Mediums - Session 1

Do you believe that only some people are creative? If so, I challenge you to prove yourself wrong! Often we carry "creativity scars" from our past that stops us from exploring our true potential. In this series it will be an open studio format, where I will have a suggested focus for the media of your choice. A low pressure, self care exploration of your creative potential can help you to problem solve, imagine goals, change your story, shift your self-image and bring you a sense of possibilities!

Explore collage, pastel, acrylic, clay, watercolor, etcetera. You choose!

This is the first of two weekly sessions. See schedule for “Creativity Exploration with Mixed Mediums - Session 2” every Thursday until April 18, 2019.

$75 each session.

Create a Dimensional Finger Labyrinth

Create a Dimensional Finger Labyrinth

is associated with religious, magical and transformative experiences. In the past they were walked as devotional activities, mini-pilgrimages or atonements for some sin. Nordic pagans coursed the paths as a way to overcome difficulty, reinforce protection and bring good fortune. These days, walkers choose labyrinths for a meditative experience and prayer, contained in a small circular package. The journey is a personal one—everyone gets something different out of the winding walk. We have some walking labyrinths around town, one being in Frontier park. The above labyrinth is after the Chartes labyrinth in the Chartes Cathedral in France. We can’t always get to a walking labyrinth, so finger labyrinths can be used. In this class we will be making a finger labyrinth of mixed media materials.
