CRI Painting Class after VanGogh's Starry Night

Scenes from Monday’s Class. Everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves and even some of the Staff participated.

Thursday’s Class

There was a lot of activity and many more participants at the Thursday Class. I was happy to see many of the consumers experimenting with composition and laying down of color. In both classes I instructed them to start with gloved hands and lay in the basic forms, starting with lighter colors Finger painting at whatever the age can be very therapeutic! Then they refined their work with palette knives and brushes.
